Concept preview — sample data only. Nothing here is saved, sent, or connected to real families.
See it as: Manager view — what Shonda and Janice see: the whole week, open shifts, claims to confirm, and every control.

The week — tap a day to open it

Sample data — concept preview. Every shift below is live in this demo: post it, claim it, confirm it, and watch the board change. Nothing is saved or sent.

Red = open shift that still needs a caregiver. Gold = claimed, waiting for the manager to confirm.

Monday — full detail

Say it, don't type it Talk-to-enter · concept preview

Tap the mic and say the schedule out loud — or type it in the box. Either way you get a plain-language card to check before anything lands on the board.

Try saying: “Mrs. Calloway — three times a week, two hours in the morning and four hours in the evening”

Add a client & their regular shifts

Name, days, times — that's it. The board fills itself in.

Open pickup shifts

Shifts that still need someone. Tap “I'll take this shift” and it goes straight to your manager for a quick confirm.

Shifts posted for pickup. When a caregiver claims one, it lands in your alerts below the moment it happens.

Manager alerts — shift claims

Claims arrive here the second a caregiver taps in. One tap to confirm, and the shift fills on the board.

My week

This week — caregiver hours

Today’s visit check-ins

✅ Aisha → Mrs. J. · checked in 8:02a

🕘 Rosa → Mrs. L. · scheduled 12:00p

Tap check-in / check-out on a phone — hours total themselves for payroll. At check-out, the caregiver drops a quick note in Daily Notes so the day is written down before it's forgotten.

Try the whole loop (1 minute)

1. Manager view: open Saturday below and tap “Post as pickup shift” on Mr. T.'s open shift.

2. Switch to Caregiver view (top of page), pick your name under “My week,” and tap “I'll take this shift.”

3. Switch back to Manager view — the claim is waiting in Manager alerts. Tap Confirm.

4. Saturday on the board now shows the shift filled, and the caregiver's hours went up.

Daily notes — end-of-day check-in Caregiver writes

Concept preview — sample caregivers and clients only. Each caregiver closes the day with two quick taps: a structured check-off, or free text in their own words — spoken or typed. Entries are added to this screen only — nothing is saved, stored, or sent. The manager side of this screen is the readout right below.

Appears in the readout below — this page only.

Shonda's readout — today (sample) Manager reads

One calm scroll at the end of the day: who visited, what happened, and what needs her eyes. Flagged items also land on the Care Team Board as follow-ups.

Aisha · Mrs. J. · Check-off Good day · checked out 11:05a

Arrived on time · Personal care completed · Meal made / appetite good · Walk or light activity done · House left tidy

“Mom had tea and a short walk. House is tidy, she was smiling.”

Rosa · Mrs. L. · Free text Quiet day · checked out 3:10p

“Lunch made, laundry folded, visit ended on time. Fridge is getting low on milk — family may want to grab some on their next shop.”

Denise · Mr. T. · Check-off Good day · checked out 1:15p

Arrived on time · Meal made / appetite good · Visit ended on time

“Mr. T. was in good spirits. Asked whether someone can come by Saturday — flagged below.”

Needs Shonda's attention

Mr. T. — Saturday coverage. Denise's note: client asked about a Saturday visit; the board still shows Saturday uncovered. Follow-up
Mrs. L. — fridge low on milk. From Rosa's note — small thing, family can cover it; no action needed unless it keeps coming up.

Earlier this week (sample)

Thu · Denise · Mr. T. · Good day

“Companion visit — cards, conversation, short porch sit. All well.”

Wed · Aisha · Mrs. J. · Wonderful day

“Great morning. Daughter called during the visit and Mom lit right up.”

What Shonda sees — and what she does with it

One readout, once a day. Instead of piecing the day together from texts after her own nursing shift, Shonda opens this tab and sees every visit that happened: who went, how it went, and the one or two things that need her.

Flags become follow-ups. Anything typed in “needs attention” is pulled out into the flagged list above and onto the Care Team Board — covering a shift, calling a family, restocking a fridge — so Janice can work the list without waiting on Shonda.

Families see the good part. The warm, plain-language version of each note flows into the Family Window as the post-visit summary. Families feel close to the day; Shonda never has to write the same update twice.

Nothing is saved here. This concept page keeps entries on screen only. A live version would store each day's notes so a caregiver could also pull up a client's recent history before walking in — but no client should ever be managed out of sample data, so that stays a concept until Shonda says go.

Where these notes come from

Each post-visit note above is written by the caregiver in Daily Notes at the end of their visit — the family-friendly part flows straight into this window, so loved ones see how the day actually went without anyone making an extra call. Private or flagged items never appear here; those go to Shonda's readout only.

Manager side: Shonda and Janice preview exactly this screen before a family ever sees it — in the live version they'd hold or edit a note here first if anything needed a second look.

Follow-ups from today's notes

Anything a caregiver flags in Daily Notes lands here automatically, so nothing lives only in a text thread.

Mr. T. — Saturday visit uncovered. Flagged by Denise today. Someone needs to be scheduled, or the family gets a call. Open
Mrs. L. — milk running low. From Rosa's note. Janice can mention it on the next family check-in. Watching

Shift claims — live feed

The same claims feed Shonda sees on the schedule screen. Caregiver claims land here the moment they tap in; confirming here fills the board too.
